Guys.
Ask you one thing...
Read this in a book,
Got me thinking.
(Although I ain't supposed to think so much)

Imagine you know this elderly man.
This person has a family who were very close to him.
His son and daughter in law loved him alot,
Although they're working in a different state,
They keep in touch with him often,
And bring his grandchilren to visit during holidays.
The small village he chose to stay in had very friendly and kind peole.
So his life was perfect.

One winter,
On the way to visit him,
The family's car skidded off the hill slope and the family is killed,
Leaving the old man waiting.

The police came to investigate,
And made a call to the old man.
Upon hearing the news,
He went immediately to the hospital.
Upon seeing his deceased family,
He cried and went into a coma.

About a few months later,
He woke up in spring.
He was all well and regained his health back quickly,
And was discharged within 2 weeks.
Everyone in his village were surprised that he could get back to life so easily,
Till one day,
He asked one of his friend's son (who is working in the same company as his son) how his son and rest of the family are,
Whether they were busy as they haven't visited him during the grandchildren's spring break.
The man was at a loss of words,
But lied to the man that the company is doing very well now,
And his son is very busy.

IF you were the man,
Or one of the villagers,
Would you tell the old man the truth?

Or would you be what he decided,
Tell the old man a white lie,
And keep him happy in the 'now'?
