It was the rehersal and performance @ Esplanade with the KSWS people today.
Damn shagged,
Went nuts and panicked over many things,
But had loads of fun.
=)

I'm still a little high + happy + giddy over yesterday and today's events.
And abit sad that its over too.

Anyway,
Blog about yesterday 1st.

SATURDAY; 16th Febuary '08
I was slacking my whole morning off,
Watching TV.
Stayed up late on Friday night sending & replying e-mails to the KSWS people and my workplace.
And my friends.
Yeah.

Went to KSWS,
Bought a teh-o ping (Iced tea w/o milk) and a bottle of water.
Walked over to CC,
Reahed at 3PM,
Only Darly and Ah Liong inside.

Wth.
I sent an e-mail stating that ppl who need blazers pls come in the AFTERNOON or EARLY EVENING,
Only Grayson,
Uncle Edmund and the 2 SP people came.

The rest came to us at 10PM after band prac when the CC is closing.
Amy and I are like nuts man.

Anyway,
Band prac was not bad!!
The band sounded quite good.
Hehehe =D

Band prac and concert briefing ended almost at 10PM.
The blazer thing dragged till almost 10.30PM lo!
WTF.

Reached Tiong Baru at abt 10.45PM.
ON the way,
The KSW ppl + JS + Boon decided to watch the sneak preview of the Death Note sequel.
Damn it la.
Cannot go,
Cos got curfew,
And didn't notice Dad in advance.
Accompanied the 9 people to buy tickets,
Then ate with them @ Burger King.

Can't help feeling disappointed la.
Then emo-ed throughout dinner.
But the new burger tasted damn nice.
=)

Then went to take the last bus while the others went to watch the sneak preview.
=(

Reached home,
Took out and ironed concert uniforms,
Bathed,
Checked and replied e-mails,
Rushed the stupid report due Monday.
Bleagh.
Slept at 4+AM.
(Cos dad scolded. But finished it anyway.)

Stupid la!
I did the report till my eyes are like closing liao lo.
And got quite a few typo and spelling errors,
Esp at the end where my brain can't even think.

SUNDAY; 17th Febuary '08

Things hit off at a damn bad start in the morning.
I woke up at 7AM,
Showered,
Made my HAIR,
Took my things and left the house at 7.45AM.

Waited damn long as usual for bus service 5,
It came at about 8.10AM to 8.15AM.
But luckily,
No need to squeeze with people.
Got a nice seat and sat down.

BUT
1/2 way through on the PIE,
The bus air-con stopped suddenly,
As we were on the PIE,
It would be difficult and dangerous to stop the bus.
The bus driver then drove to the bus-stop near Newton area.
He printed and gave out a complimentary ticket a person,
Then told us to get off the bus.

He then drove off,
But stopped alittle further as smoke,
Yes,
SMOKE was coming out of the back of the bus.
Water also kept flowing out.

OMG.
He then switched off his engine and got off the bus quickly,
And called for help.

Meanwhile,
The other passangers and I were waiting for the other bus service 5.
Waited till about 8.40AM,
Started to panic.

Shit.
Blazers not given out,
Things need help shifting,
The hired passanger bus is going to KSWS at 8.45AM!!
Tried failed attempts to flag a taxi,
As almost all were already hired ones.
Decided to walk to the Newton MRT station to take a taxi,
Meanwhile looking out for one.

The stupid grass patch on the side of the pavement was so bumpy,
Kept tripping me over!
Shit.
And what's worse,
I kinda broke the side of my new sports shoes.
WTFWTFWTF.

SMS-ed Lawrence that I'll be late.
And Yong An.

Took a taxi,
Rushed down to the CC,
Reached at 9.15AM.
The stuff are all packed and carried into the lorry,
Blazers are given out.
All I did was to call and wait for YA,
And get onto the bus.

Shit.
Felt so damn useless.

Many others were late too,
Can sense that Lawrence's losing his patience.

Wanted to apologise,
But dunno what to say.

Went over to Esplanade,
Split into rooms,
Set up instruments,
Warmed up,
Rehersal,
Gave out ties.

Mr Ng kept complaining of the bass drum 2 rows behind him.
=.=
Say what we sound like funeral band.
Rah-beesh la!
You used this placement when I was in GM lo!
Diao.

Ate hotdogs for lunch!!
Damn good man!!
Haha.

Amy,
Xiumei,
YongAn,
Jing Si,
Karen,
See Siang,
Andrew,
Lawrence's niece and I were slacking in the air-conditioned artist lounge while the rest are cramped downstairs!!
Haha.

The lounge even had a TV,
Watched Japan Hour while eating.
Amy and See Siang were sleeping though.
Lol.

Yup.
Went back and changed at 2PM,
Cleaned up my instrument as much as I could,
Warmed up again,
Went to find Charlie to tune.
Woo...
Have to queue up lo!
Lol.

The slacked abit,
Talked with the flute people,
Walked around....

Yeah.
Performance at 3.
It was not bad!
Wah...
So many people came to watch the performance...
Maybe cos its free,
But hope they know what is KSWS already lo.
Hope we left them with a good impression,
They come to our paid annual concert to watch also.
=)

And according to Mr Ng,
Some GM juniors are there too..
Woo...

Someone called something like "Teh-bing!" at the end.
XM insisted backstage that they're calling my name.
Ehh...

Couldn't be the GM kids ba??
Call me nv call Mr Ng meh??
Maybe its just one of my friends ba.

But too bad cannot meet the audience sia.
=(

Photo shoot was like,
Damn impromptu.
Haha.

Cos we weren't allowed to stay in the hall for too long la.
So yah.

Amy and I went down when the people are dressing to collect back the ties and blazers.
Woo...
Damn tiring.
Then packed up,
carried stuff to loading bay.

Lawrence told me to check if the lorry and bus are here.
I went to the security counter at the place we dropped off,
He told me none came yet,
If any1 or both came,
He'd send a person inside Esp to inform us.
I then told him that we were at the loading bay area.
Lorry came when I was going back in.

I went back to the loading bay,
Remembered my casual clothes.
Went back to the room,
Not there.
XM said that Kiyomi took them.
I searched high and low for her
Can't find!
T.T

Helped to load the percussion and other instruments up the bus,
Then Kiyomi appeared at the loading bay.
Turned out that she thought that the clothes were that of Lawrence's niece's,
So she held on to them.
Phew.

I then went back to the guard with Boon to scan out after the lorry had left.
We were going back when the guard told us that we could acutally wait for our bus outside.
Yep.
Then the KSW ppl took all out stuff out to the Esp mall lobby.
Lol.
LAwrence was back into his usual joking self,
Kept making silly and dirty jokes.
Lol.

Bus came,
We went back.
By the time we got back,
There were VERY little instruments left on the lorry.
Yeah.
The KSWS ppl shifted them,
Went to band room to slack.

The Esp ppl are so effecient!!
They had alr given a copy of the performance just now to Lawrence!!
Woo...
*claps*

Then we listened,
Laughed at some parts,
Like dinosaurs instead of camels in Aladdin,
As well as a VERY fat fortune god.
ROFL.

Kenichi and some others were so tired tat they fell asleep while listening to the recording.
LOL.

I went to change,
Then came back,
KSWS ppl say wanna makan,
Everyone gathered their owns stuff and got out.

Decided to eat Bak Kut Teh like usual after every concert.
(Also partly because no Malays coming,
Azmi going home.)
Yup.

The soup was damn yummy!!
Drank 3 bowls,
And ate 2 bowls of rice.
Going damn fat!1

Yup.
Then everyone went home.
Yeah.

Dunno la.
Had some fun in the preparation as well as the concert itself.
Happy its over,
Cos damn tired already,
But a little sad that its over too...
Haiz.

But nvm!
Must jiayou for annual concert!
Hehe. =)
