Thursday, November 2

The applause died down.
Slowly and fluently,
The music started to flow,
Like a wide,
never-ending river.

The voice....
It sang of a war between nature and animals.

It sang of feelings,
Of hope, fear and dispair.

A girl,
Closing her eyes,
Listened to the voice.

She sees the story,
As told by the voice.

She feels the fear,
The earning of hope,
The despair.

She feels the sadness,
The joy,
And the freedom.

She voices it out,
Wanting others to hear,
Wanting others to see.

Slowly,
The voice started to fade.
Everything around her started to dim.
Everything was peaceful.

For a moment,
All ongoing wars seemed to have stopped.
No more fighting,
No more bloodshed,
No more fear.

A thunderous applause sounded,
Breaking her slient retreat.
She opened her eyes.
And looked around her.

The audience in the hall were all clapping.
She looks at them.
Some were crying,
Some had expressions on their face,Which were difficult to define.

People around the girl,
Her band mates,
Some of them still having tears running down their faces,
Came and hugged her,
As if thanking her.
