Just had dinner with Vernon and Jen after Mdm Thana's tutorial on forgiveness. A group mate of the class sent us all the way to AMK hub and we decided to eat at MOS burger. I ordered the promo grilled mustard chicken burger (very nice!), fries and milk tea. Had a nice time just chatting with them about friends when we were in the diploma course, as well as funny comments and stuff from Vernon. xD On the way home now, and just found out that mom cooked my share for dinner... Oh no... Haha Had a long day today, from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Wong from AG104 was horrible as usual, yabbering away on her own while flashing slides and not letting us take photos of important slides which were not in the PowerPoint given to us. She even threatened that she is going to chase us out of the lecture if we "steal" her slides.... Bitchy.... Really don't know what is wrong with her. Slides given are not complete, don't let us take photo of graphs, pictures and extra slides, yet don't give us time to copy at all... Worse, she talks with some weird accent in a soft voice at breakneck speed, its hard to concentrate and focus. Worse, she likes to turn away from the class and yammer to herself... Felt frustrated throughout her lesson. Only plus point was that I sat with Jen, Wen Yen, Farah, Rina and Vern for the first time, and that Vern was sneakily taking photos of the slides when Wong was talking to the wall. Haha Had a 2 hour break after that, as Dr Das's wife just gave birth to their daughter. :) Ate at the canteen with the group, Silin and Atika. Jen was teasing Atika on sharing a room with Vern on the upcoming Thailand trip and we had loads of laughter due to Atika and Vernon's conversation. Dr. Wong from last year's Geog class joined us for lunch and shared on his studies of the development of Msia states which he studied when he was there. He also shared that he would be retiring next year and planned to go to China before he gets too old. He says that he has found new lecturers and tutors to be in NIE and let "the young ones" take over. He's such a nice and friendly father figure, really enjoyed talking and lunching with him. :) After that was Mdm Thana's class and my early dinner with Jen and Vern. Feeling happy, or more like relaxed / peaceful now, which I have not felt for a long, long time. Probably due to the laughter from the quips and reactions form Jen and Vern. *^-^*
