-Late post I found in my drafts -

Yo~~

Back from Sentosa with NTUSB!
Had quite alot of fun. :))

First, had my 1st observation on Monday. I personally felt that it was horrible. Overshot timing, had to add classroom work to the kids' homework... arrgh. And the kids were not very enthu that day, for some reason... But my CT says that my lesson, though needing improvements, is interesting. Will try to work on her feedback. Not easy having a HA class too.

Today was pretty OK at first. Was supposed to meet Kwang Liang at 2pm, both of us ended up late. Haha. I reached first, went to buy cream puffs for the eupho and tuba bandits. The Beard Papa guy there seemed to be a little irritated when I ordered the puffs... Hello, is the movie in your phone is more important than your customer? Right after he finished serving ne, he went back immediately to his phone. How nice...

Then went over to Kopitiam-Banquet to eat 1st, cos I was really starving, and Kwang Liang said that he's not eating.Smsed him to tell him that I was eating at Banquet. After he had reached, the poor guy didn't know that there was a Banquet just at the right end of the MRT exit and walked all the way down to Harbour Front Centre. OMG.

I'm quite bad in directions at Vivo, so asked him if he can bake his way over and meet me. Met at Candy Empire after awhile. Went time withdraw money, and he realized that his atm card was disabled and he was not allowed time withdraw money or check his account balance. He seemed quite upset about it... adoi. Told him that he could always borrow from me 1st.

Took the Sentosa Express Skytrain to Imbiah station next to the Merlion plaza where the band would be performing. Super excited to meet the NTU peeps after awhile! Reached there to see them setting up. :))

Stuck abit with Ting-ma, Zhiyong, Kwang Liang and Chin Kee, who were also not performing. Took abit of pics here and there. Ting-ma, Kwang Liang and I kept talking about practicum and work. xD

The band sounded surprisingly good outdoors, especially at the second half!! (I meant it in a good way, we always practiced in the small band room, never outdoors.) Euphies sounded oosh! And it was funny to see Chee Weng playing percussion, especially the tambourine!

Bought myself a cold iced lemon tea from the KFC behind ans went around the mini-bazzar during the band's break. Books selling for one dollar each! Bought a comic, James and The Giant Peach and a Magic School Bus book for keepsake. The lady was super nice to me too. :))

The fair mainly catered for kids. There are many activities for young kids, like sand painting, henna, necklace and bracelet making, games stallls, and stalls selling things like childrens' clothes, accessories andq food like cotton candy, cup corn and Popcorn. There was a section whereby students from a primary school in Bukit Panjang sold items they have made, like keychains, bookmarks and notebooks for charity. Couldn't resist and bought 3 keychains from them. They gave me cupons for a free popcorn or candy floss, which I exchanged for Kwang Liang and Ting-ma to eat. :)

Helped the band to pack stuff up the lorry as we waited. Then went to buy some really good ice-cream from an expensive European ice-cream franchise. The ice-creams are really good!! Marie and I bought a stick of hazelnut and a pistachio ice-cream anxious shared with Ting-ma, Kwang Liang and Zhiyong. By the time we went back to the assembly area of the band, the stick was passed round and it disappeared. xD
Took some pics here and there before going for dinner.

Had a free dinner with the NTUSBians @ Wave House. Had duck confit soup which tasted really good, catfish fish and chips and dessert, which was pretty okay... The place is damn awesome! OTHER than being next to the beach, there's a wave stimulate which allows people to try surfing, and a cowboy bull ride stimulator outside the restaurant. There's like a mini-pub and a live band playing outside too! Maybe I'll bring Chris here one of the days when he's back. Think he'll love the place alot.

Was sitting mainly with the trombones and tubas. Marie popped by after dessert to ask and plan for a eupho outing. We were talking about different budget places when she asked where I ate for buffet which has good food... The one I like is a Japanese place with free flow super fresh sashimi and really good Doubin Mushi, but not everyone can eat/like raw seafood... I was thinking about Todai in Marina Bay, which I dined at easier this month with Joce and Cheryl, or Carousel which my Malay friends mentioned. Marie then asked me where else I've eaten and I mentioned Shangri-la. She was like, "Wah, you super rich leh! Why so expensive one?" I don't really adore buffets and I just happened to eat at those places for buffet lor....

Yup...went back with the NTU peeps to Nanyang House on Pulau NTU. WAS chatting with Clement on the bus about Maha Bodhi band in the upcoming SYF on our way back. Shiyong was showing us some comic that he created in the business with the Merlion picture he took earlier.
