Hello people!
It's the wee hours on Monday morning again!
Hahaha.

This week is a week that flew by very, very fast,
Especially Monday and Tuesday,
Where half the day was gone in an instant.
Woot,
Many things to do for the last 2 weeks.
There are papers stacking in the office,
And here at home,
There is a gigantic pile to clear...
(I can only blame myself for being lazy on weekdays after work.)
Must Jiayou!
I believe that the others and I can do it!

Anyway,
Band on Sat.
Went in the morning to teach the kids.
Was in a super grumpy mood in the beginning,
Cos I turned up late, and I haven't slept a wink
(I have honestly good reasons),
And the kids are not taking it seriously.

Left earlier at 11.00AM for the first time.
Made a last minute appointment to see a doctor for my wrists,
Cos they were hurting like crazy.
Yup.

Dad drove me to NYP after that,
Went for alumni prac.
Super few people turned up,
Probably due to Mid-Autumn fest.
Also, many of the members had gone to Taiwan for a holiday.

We had only 1 conductor cum trumpeter,
1 flautist,
1 Clarinetist,
1 saxist,
1 trumpeter,
3 trombonists,
2 euphis,
2 tubists,
1 + 1 makeshift percussionists.

DGC wasn't too impressed when he popped by for a minute with some others.
Can tell from the way he spoke.
Thom was practically sticking his tongue at him...
Hai.
I personally just heck care him la.
We are the ones involved,
We still can enjoy ourselves,
Even if there are few people,
Regardless of what other people think.

But honestly,
There were really very few people that prac,
But was kinda fun. :)

Though there were some missing parts here and there,
But I think that we generally sound okay....
Maybe it's because of the tubas behind?

Anyway,

Went out to dinner with Joce and Cheryl at Esp.
They decided to eat at the Jap restaurant there...

Met some old friends of mine that are performing at the outdoors event.
HAHAH!

Back to the food...
I think that the food was pretty okay...
I ordered this dunno-what special...
And the green-tea ice-cream.

$21.90 (before GST+Svc), consisting of:
Appetizer (Pickles and pickled carrots), 
A bowl of noodles in clear seafood broth,
Deep fried prawn with ham,
Potato salad,
Grilled squid with garlic mayo
2pcs of salmon sushi,
3pcs of slightly cooked tuna,
1 portion of fish roe,
Pumpkin dessert,
Steamed egg/Chawan-mushi

What I liked:
1) Grilled squid
I LOVEDDDDD the grilled squid!!!
Crunchy and nice (and fresh),
And the garlic mayo is NICEEEEEE.
I'll eat it any day, I swear!

2) Tuna (medium-rare)
I LOVED the tuna too,

3) Chawan-mushi/ Steamed egg
And the chawan-mushi is quite good,
Except that I didn't like the ginko inside.

4) Soup for the noodles
The seafood broth was clear, but the flavor is good.

5)Green tea ice-cream
I loved the green tea ice-cream!!!!
The red bean paste isn't THAT sweet,
And adding cornflakes is a weird BUT tasty choice!!

Things that I think can be improved (for what I ate):
1) Salmon
The salmon isn't fresh

2) Noodles
The noodles...  It's really....
They should use the normal udon/ramen noodles...
Instead, they used the type that people eat cold SOBA from...
Super water asorbing, and the taste is weird (with hot seafood) soup.

3) Tempura prawn with ham
It'll be better if they add cheese in the ham-tempura.
Maybe not for the offer, but in their menu... The one now with only ham tasted bland.
Maybe its because they served it without the tempura sauce, but then....


Yup.
Haha.
We stayed for quite a loooooong time there!

Then went to toilet and took the MRT.
Acc Joce to Tampines,
Then took 21 home. :)
