Sectionals on Tuesday.
Eupho attendance was kenna sai.
Dun want to say much.
Practiced abit of Inn of 6th Happiness,
Got bored quickly as it is the ONLY piece we (or I) was given,
And the notes are blardy high.
After a while,
Sat down with Esther and practiced Festive instead.

Attended band prac yesterday with MR. OURA.
Yeah.
He's our conductor....
Quite alright,
I don't find him as sarcastic as how others say him to be...
Kind of nice, dunno leh.

Attendence is shit.
More than 1/2 the band is ABSENT.
Some went for SAF concert,
Never mind.
If I was in their shoes,
I would have went too!
Cos this time they're performing with some people in the US Marine band,
Good exposure la.
If I was in their shoes,

But what I'm irritated is that there were quite a fair bit of absent people who used the SAF band performance as an excuse,
When in actual fact,
They're at home kiao-kahing.
No pointing of who they are,
They should be ashamed of themselves.
Think that Mr. Oura is kinda disappointed also...
2nd prac only the band like that.

Prac yesterday is really kinda boring,
Cos Mr. Oura does sectional on the spot.
And it really is kind of getting on my nerves....
I mean, it's not like we've played the piece for years,
We're sightreading it,
For goodness sake...

I was there for about 3hours,
And I played less than 1.5 hours alright.
Sitting there like a stone,
Doing nothing.
I don't like it.
Makes me feel jumpy.

Arrgh.
I understand that he means good,
And the band acutally sounded like a band at the end of practice...
But one piece per practice and the repeating of a few parts by the same sections is kind of unbearable.

Tomorrow till Sunday's Kim Seng Day.
