The last day of the 'holidays' has just gone past.
Super sian-ed.

Today was the only day where I felt that I was in a holiday break.
WTH.
NO projects.
(For complaining people, no band either.)

NONE. =)

Woke up at 3PM,
(I watched teevee with mom till 4AM in the morning,
Then played my sis's DS till 6AM)
Did housework,
Ate and watched the telly again.
=D

1st day whereby I felt so relaxed for the 2 weeks...
But wth,
I can only so that for ONE day.
Sadded.

Anyway.
Went to AMK to meet Boon on Saturday.
Cos both of us going Bandworld in the morning,
And going for NYP alumni and Kimseng after - noon.
I almost fell off my seat laughing when I saw him.
BOTAK!
LOBSTER!
(My 1st words to him after his first 2 weeks in camp...)
How evil of me!

Skipped band prac.
We went to Bandworld, IMM.

Boon let me listen to Moulmein's recording of Danceries during the long train ride!
Not bad for sightreading!!
1st time I went wow.
Woot.
But I loved the 1st eupho player's sound!
His tone....
Its really really nice.

Went to Bandworld....
1st time seeing and talking to Mr Ong(?) and Ms Sia face to face!
Boon bought a case for his flute.
And smth about his flute made him kinda sad there...

Went to find a place to eat after leaving Bandworld.
Saw my aunt outside Daiso!
Woo...
So grew soo much thinner already!
What happened??

But was super glad to see her,
Cos I only get to see her once a year......
Chatted quite abit.
She's still working at the furniture shop in IMM!
Woot!
So long liao lo!
I thought that she wasn't working there anymore...
Had a good chat with her before she went to work.

Before leaving,
She squeezed a fifty into my hand!!
I was kinda horrified.
Okay...
More of shocked....
(I think my face was scary...)
She said its alright,
Cos we seldom get to meet.
But meeting once a year don't need to like this ma...
I refused,
Returned her the fifty,
But she kept squeezing it to me...
Think Boon's probably amused by the both of us...

Keep things short,
She won.
She was so happy that I accepted it (although really reluctantly).
I felt so bad...
But she was really happy that I accepted it,
It really seemed even worse that just bad to decline.

And so I decided...
I'll accept.

I'm gonna cherish the fifty she gave me,
And NEVER spend it.
Gonna keep it with me always.
Its a gift from my aunt!
My aunt from my dad's side!
I'm gonna keep it no matter what happens.
=)

We then went to Daiso to walkwalk,
Bought some drinks,
Charcoal for Boon's stinking flute case,
As well as one for my 'rotting' eupho case,
And I bought some seasoned seaweed topping for soba noodles.

We went earplug hunting for my sister,
But can't find any...

We left IMM for NYP alumni prac soon after.

Saturday's band practice!
Woohoo!

Let's start with alumni.
Boon and I reached school just in time.
We had ample time to set up our instruments and warmup before laoshi came.
=)

Meiting and Yihui came!
Thomas too!!!
I was so glad to see the 3 of them after a VERY VERY long time.
Had a great time there.

Played the same songs as last week,
Plus Fantasy Variations.

YES.
THAT FANTASY VARIATIONS.

When laoshi said that,
The WHOLE BAND said something like 'bleagh' or 'ploorough' at the same time,
Then laughed at the 'mo qi' we had.
Hahaha!

WTH.
I did play la...
Kinda surprised at my sightreading!
Not good la,
But DEFINITELY improved.
So happy!

At the end of the practice,
I was quite reluctant to leave....
Childish reason la.
Whenever I'm with laoshi,
My tone somehow seems to come back...
I dunno why,
Probably some mentality problem ba.

Jerold,
Jason and Boon.

Dropped by the sushi shop to buy some onigiri for dinner,
The rest bough mee sua at the stall beside it,
Cos they were curious on why Jerold can eat it every week.
Lol.

Sat at the stairs beside the tv corner of KSCC,
Ate our dinner before going in for band prac.

She's with Lawrence yesterday.
My goodness....
2 weeks not seeing her....
She has grown so much!
She's a really active baby...
Hyper and cheerful.
Really,
Looking at her really makes me feel older.
So happy for her, Amy & Lawrence that she's growing up so well.

The NYPPE (NYP Percussion Ensemble) was there!!

She has told me that she went down for prac,
As well as helping out for concert;
But oh boy......
I'm so glad to see her in Kimseng in person!

Sightread The Olympic Spirit.
Played Festive Overture. (Duh)

I FINALLY played some parts of the running notes WITH the band.
(Softly of course).
I was happy!

But Charlie wasn't too pleased....
Kinda dampened my spirits...
But yeah.
There were some parts where I was still scared,
And unsure.
Then lagged when I played back in.
Must practice it even more with the metronome after I come back from Vienna.

Speaking of Vienna,
Ohmygoodnessgracious!
Looking at my planner,
I'm starting to feel nervous already....
Its so near!!!
2 more weeks!
2 more!!!
OMG.

I'm nervous.
And excited.
WTH.
Arrgh!
So scary.

Then looking at the tests and stuff when I return....
Wham!
WORSE!
Now with abit of dread and fear.
Woot.
Why can't the festival fall on my TEP period???
I'd be damn more than glad to go;
Probably even rejoicing if I went during my call-centre period....

Back to KSWS.

After practice,
Jerold was kinda shocked that he got the solo part for Howl's Moving Castle.
But he IS happy la.
Went outside to practice it abit,
And was the last to keep his instrument!
LOL.

The NYPPE people were damn high after prac,
Went on to play one of their performance pieces after prac.
Some of the KS people stayed back awhile more to watch.

Went for dinner, with the NYPPE people saying that they're starving.
Lol.
Jason was in a high mood,
Imitating every male singer he could think of.
LMAO.
Kept us entertained while walking.

Went to the now usual place,
The current NYP people sat at a table,
Including Sze Hou as a NYPPE member.
=)
Ordered our meal.
Turned out that the owner of the Western food stall is YA's friend!
He offered us some special treatment!
Woo....

Ate till 11.20PM,
I left with Kit.
Missed my 11.30 bus,
Had to wait for the last bus.

In the end,
I still saw Kiyomi and Kenichi drive past with Lawrence and family in their car...
Hai.
But Yong An joined me and took bus 5 home....
So my journey home wasn't so lonely....

Reached home past 12 again,
Mom was in living room.
Eve said that they went to IMM in late morning!
Saw me and Boon boarding the shuttle bus.
(Meaning the time we were leaving.)
OMG.
Hahaha.

Luckily mom listened to my explanation..
*phew*

She wasn't too surprised,
Cos she saw Boon before - the brownie deliveryman,
(As well as Jerold & Jason - bakkua delivery men,
Together with the Kimseng people,
And my secondary school buddies.)
And understands my relationships with the boys I hang around with.
(Cos she was a tomboy in the younger years too --- She told me)
So saves the long explanations...

Can't imagine the scenario if it was my DAD who saw us....
He'd probably started yelling before I could say anything...
Woot.

Then we watched some olden Chinese movie that was kinda interesting...
Then some variety on some eatery that ended at 4AM.....
I went up to my bedroom,
Played my sister's DS before sleeping at 6.

(I think that this is probably the only type of maths I've done this year...
